If you lost your job tomorrow, how easily do you feel you find new employment?: I have recently been partially disabled and am no longer able to practice hospital nursing and am having difficulty finding and establishing a new field

Do you feel having your own a malpractice insurance policy is necessary, why or why not?: I would rather it were not neccessary. Nurses having insurance gives people an incentive to sue nurses. It is however a sign of the times that nurses need to protect themselves from litigation.

Your most pressing concerns with the profession and healthcare: The needs of the patients we care for are being compromised to save money, staffing is ludicrous in most facilities especially at night.

Patients who 25 years ago slept all night are now sleeping in nursing homes and rehab units and the patients who are on the med/surg floors today were in ICU needing almost one on one care.
