Your most pressing concerns with the profession and healthcare: I believe that health care has become a privilege for some rather than a right for all citizens. Nursing has allowed its image to be tarnished thus not a desired profession by our youth. We have let lessor prepared licensures or certifications to perform some of our hands on functions thus allowed our educational preparedness and our true abilities to be forgotten. Now employers see us as technical employees rather than a vast resource of scientific information on which we base our decision making that ultimately affects a client's outcomes.
