University of North Florida / Department of Nursing:"The School of Nursing at the University of North Florida offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. There are three pathways, or tracks - to - the degree. The Prelicensure track is for first-time nursing students who want to prepare for a dynamic, exciting career in nursing. The Prelicensure Accelerated track is designed for those already holding a baccalaureate in another field and desiring a career in nursing. The RN-BSN track is for students who are already registered nurses and who now want to further their education and expand their career opportunities by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The baccalaureate nursing program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The School of Nursing program admits students into the Primary Care Nursing Practitioner track for those individuals who wish to become nurse practitioners skilled in meeting the health care needs of individuals and families across the life-span. Graduates from this track are eligible to take the Family Nurse Practitioner Certification examination and for licensure as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners."
