Savannah Technical College (LPN, LVN):"The Practical Nursing program is designed to prepare students to write the National Council of Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) for licensure as practical nurses. The program is accredited by the National League of Nursing and prepares graduates to give competent nursing care. Schuylkill Intermediate Unit #29 / Schuylkill Technology Centers (LPN):"The Practical Nursing Program is available on a full-time basis during week days and part-time in the evening/week-end division. The day division covers a 12 month period with enrollment beginning in August and March of each calendar year. The part-time division covers a 24 month period with enrollment occurring in August. Employment opportunities for LPN's are constantly expanding in hospitals, clinics, public health agencies, doctors offices, extended care facilities and private homes. LPN's can also continue their education to enter professional nursing and other health care fields. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be eligible to take the Pennsylvania State Licensure Exam for Practical Nurses."

The program is approved by the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission, and is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Seattle University / College of Nursing (BSN, MSN):"The history of Seattle University College of Nursing is linked to the early history of Providence Hospital in Seattle. In 1877, the Sisters of Providence responded to a request to care for those in the Seattle area who were sick and poor. The "Poor House" at 5th and Spring streets was eventually moved to 17th and Jefferson and became Providence Hospital. By 1907, seventeen Sisters of Charity of Providence were registered as nurses in the state of Washington. Needs for nursing care increased, and the Providence Hospital School of Nursing was opened July 16, 1907, with four lay students enrolled. The first class of the Providence Hospital School of Nursing graduated in 1910."

Sentara School of Health Professions / Registered Nursing Program (Diploma Nursing, LPN):"The Registered Nursing Program, Norfolk's first Nursing School, began in 1892. It was created by the Retreat of the Sick, a 24-bed hospital. The two-year program, taught by physicians, was open to any female, 18 or older, with a grammar school education. The schooling was free, but students had to supply their own books and uniforms. Four young women were accepted into the first class."
