(BSN, MSN, PhD):"Welcome to East Carolina University School
of Nursing. Established in 1959, the School
is now a center of excellence in nursing
education, research, and practice in this
underserved rural region, which has considerable
multicultural diversity. The School's academic
programs prepare professional nurses as baccalaureate
generalists, as specialists for advanced
practice at the master's level, and as scientists
at the PhD level. Our undergraduate program
is intended for first time college students,
returning and transfer students as well as
