Coastal Georgia Community College / Department
of Nursing:"The Nursing Department is designed to prepare
students to enter the field of professional
nursing through the Associate of Science
in Nursing degree program. The curriculum
prepares the student to take the national
licensure examination which qualifies the
graduate to practice as a registered nurse.
The licensing board may change these requirements
prior to the completion of the course of
study. While reasonable efforts will be made
to enable the student to satisfy additional
requirements, no assurances can be made that
the college will be able to offer these additional
courses or, if taken, that such courses will
entitle one to take the licensure examination."
Cochise College - Nursing Department:"The Cochise College Nursing Program is
a nationally accredited program which offers
expert instruction, modern equipment, and
a wide variety of clinical experience in
hospitals and agencies throughout Cochise
County. The Nursing Program is organized
on the "Career Ladder" concept:
at the end of the first year students are
eligible to apply to the State Board of Nursing
to take the Licensed Practical Nurse examination.
Upon completion of the second year, students
receive an Associate of Applied Science degree,

College of Saint Mary / Nursing Program (LPN,
ADN, BSN):"Nursing education at the College of Saint
Mary began in 1969 with the establishment
of the ASN program. The Nursing Programs
are approved by the Nebraska State Board
of Nursing and is accredited by the National
League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
(NLNAC)*. College of Saint Mary currently
offers four programs in Nursing. The Practical
Nursing Program is designed to prepare Practical
Nurses that are able to provide care to both
English and Spanish speaking patients in
the healthcare settings. The Associate Degree
in Nursing plan for the LPN is designed as
a day program. Credit for prior nursing education
may be achieved through successful passing
of the NLN-ACE PN to RN Exams. This program
can be completed in one calendar year, beginning
in the summer semester. The Associate Degree
Program is designed to be completed in either
a Nursing 2 Track (two-year program) or Nursing
3 Track (three-year program). At the completion
of either program, you are eligible to complete
testing for your nursing license. The RN
to BSN Program is designed as a day course
for Registered Nurses that have their Associate
Degree to complete their studies for a Bachelor
Degree. The Bachelor Degree level courses
are designed to be completed in a minimum
of one calendar year, depending upon the
student having completed the required Core
Curriculum courses."

by the Idaho Board of Nursing and accredited
by the National League for Nursing. For questions
regarding CSI's accreditation, please contact:

of the nursing program, the student will
receive the Associate of Science degree.
Completion of the program qualifies the graduate

Articulation into BSN programs is available

original SICC campus on Bay Street in Staten

of the first class of students. Full accreditation
was received and has continued throughout
the progress of the program. The College
moved to the new and modern Sunnyside Campus
