of Nursing (BSN, MSN):"The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is conferred
upon students who have satisfactorily completed
121 semester hours of prescribed academic
work, exclusive of credits earned in Physical
Education. The four-year undergraduate nursing
program accepts candidates for freshman admission
in September and January. Transfer applicants
are accepted on a space-available basis for
both the fall and spring semesters. The Master
of Science in Nursing advances knowledge
through two essential program concerntratons:
Nursing Administration which will enable
the graduate to lead health care systems
and Nursing Educator which will prepare the
graduate to educate tomorrow's nurses. Master's
students develop competences in management
to effect system change and exert leadership
and in nursing education to develop future
professionals."
American River College (ASN) :"The Nursing program consists of a combination
of general education and nursing courses
with related laboratory experience in local
health agencies. Successful completion of
the program qualifies the student to take
the National Licensing Examination to become
registered as a nurse and eligible for employment.
A grade of "C" or better is required in each
nursing course for progression in the program
and for an Associate Degree in Nursing. The
nursing curriculum is a two-year program
offered in four sequential semesters. There
are two application periods per year and
students are accepted for the spring and
fall semesters. There are morning, afternoon,
evening, and weekend clinical experiences
required with limited notice."
Anderson University / School of Nursing (BSN,
MSN):"Anderson University offers a four-year bachelor
of science in nursing (BSN) that emphasizes
analytic skills, a liberal arts perspective,
and expertise for beginning nursing practice.
The BSN focuses on developing students for
beginning practice in the professional roles
of practitioner, educator, scholar, member

are prepared to design innovative nursing

Andrews University / Department of Nursing
(BSN):"The Andrews University Department of Nursing
offers two Bachelors Degrees: the NCLEX Preparatory
Program and the Completion Program. Students
just beginning their college education will
enroll in the NCLEX preparatory program.
Students already holding an Associates Degree
and/or are already an R.N.'s will enroll
in the completion program for R.N.'s. Both
degrees prepare students for a career in
professional nursing, are approved by the
Michigan Board of Nursing, and have full
accreditation from the National League for

Anne Arundel Community College / Nursing

can be completed in four semesters following
admission to the program. In addition students
need at least two semesters to complete the
prerequisites for admission to the program.The
ADN curriculum is accredited by the Board
of Registered Nursing (BRN). The curriculum
meets the requirements of the BRN for eligibility
to apply for the National Council Licensure
Examination for Registered Nurses. The student
who completes the program is eligible to
apply for an Associate in Science degree."
