programs have a distinguished history. The
programs have existed 60 and 52 years, respectively
and together have more than 6,000 alumni.
Until 2002 the programs were housed in the
former Schools of Nursing and Allied Health
Sciences. Those two small Schools were consolidated
into a single academic unit, the College
of Nursing and Health Sciences, for purposes

a relatively small unit with 452 undergraduate

semesters and one summer session (10.5 months).
PN students learn practical nursing skills
