Eastern New Mexico University / Nursing Department (BSN):"Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) established its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)-Completion Program in fall 1992 following a request from health professionals and nursing groups in five "nursing underserved" counties of southeast New Mexico. The program graduated its first students in May 1994 and received its initial accreditation from the National League for Nursing as soon as it was eligible, in October 1995. The program articulates with other BSN programs in New Mexico, and is designed for the working RN who seeks the first professional degree in nursing, the BSN.
