University of Delaware College of Health and Nursing Sciences:"We have three very different program options for obtaining a baccalaureate of science degree in nursing (BSN). Our traditional program is for those having no prior education or degrees. This program is a full-time course of study that takes 4 years to complete. We offer an accelerated degree program for students who already hold one or more baccalaureate college degrees. This program is a full-time, 15-month course of study. For nurses who already have current licensure but do not have a baccalaureate degree, we offer an RN to BSN program via distance education using the Internet. Most nurses complete their degree through part-time study within 3-4 years. At the graduate level, the University of Delaware offers a variety of advanced professional specialties. Nurses with a baccalaureate degree may pursue either a clinical nurse specialty master of science in nursing (MSN) degree, a nurse practitioner MSN degree, or a health services administration degree."
